Biography

Fiona Wilkes brings over two decades of experience in the UK rail and construction industry, where she has contributed to some of the nation’s most iconic and technically demanding projects, including the Borough Market Viaduct, London Bridge Station Redevelopment, and Gatwick Station Remodelling.

A recognised expert in Requirements Engineering, Fiona has developed and implemented robust processes, frameworks, and collaborative methodologies that ensure compliance, efficiency, and stakeholder confidence. Her proficiency in managing complex requirement baselines within DOORS, coupled with her experience in Verification and Validation (V&V), underpins her reputation for delivering clarity, structure, and assurance in major programme environments.

Throughout her career, Fiona has successfully coordinated Stage Gate Reviews, secured critical investment and governance approvals, and produced design compliance verification frameworks adopted by multidisciplinary design teams.

Her collaborative leadership and deep understanding of governance processes make her a valuable addition to Assisting Success’s utilities team, where she leads on commitments, compliance, and client assurance across high-profile infrastructure programmes.
