Biography
Andrew is a director and leader within the railway industry, having 37 years’ experience in rail industry development, sponsorship, construction and operations, from concept to completion. He has worked for Train Operating Companies, government bodies and Network Rail throughout his career as well as a three-year spell in Washington DC as vice president for Network Rail USA Consulting Inc.
His key achievement within the industry was leading the development of London Bridge station, from the very start of planning to the opening of the new operational station which took a period of nine years.
Away from the railway Andrew has spent twenty years as an active school governor and trustee, with over ten of these being as a Multi Academy Trust chair.
He is known as an excellent communicator and negotiator at all levels and is an expert in railway stakeholder management. He believes in a holistic and systemic approach to problem solving.
